To measure for a Curtain installation, follow these steps:

Width:
Measure the Width of the Window: Use a measuring tape to find the full width of the window or the area you want to cover with curtains.
Add Extra Width: For a fuller look when the curtains are closed, multiply the width by 1.5 to 2 times. For example, if your window is 100 cm wide, you’ll want curtain panels with a combined width of around 150-200 cm.

Length:
Decide on Curtain Length: Curtains typically fall to one of three lengths—sill length, floor length, or puddle length:
Sill Length: Measure from the curtain rod to just above the windowsill.
Floor Length: Measure from the curtain rod to the floor, leaving a gap of about 1 cm above the floor.
Puddle Length: Measure from the rod to the floor and add an extra 5-10 cm for a "puddled" effect where the fabric pools slightly on the floor.
Measure from the Curtain Rod to Desired Length: Start at the top of where the rod will be and measure down to your preferred length based on your style choice.
